A tip for when you're not feeling "good enough"

I’ve thought long, overthought let’s say and this sense of not feeling “good enough” is something which is always lingering unconsciously and consciously in the back of my mind.

I don’t think that I’m alone in feeling this way. I also can’t blame it on social media alone, as a millennial I remember a time before it and it was a feeling that’s lingered since before that. 

I’ve made a youtube video about this while walking home, I didn’t overthink it, I thought I’d just make here, view it here.

I’ve learnt over the years, since practicing yoga and starting meditation a few years ago, to acknowledge these thoughts whether they are good or bad. 

There comes a time though where you have to protect yourself again those feelings, when they start to drag you down, plus once you’re sick finally sick of feeling this way. 

When you don’t know how to get out of a certain mind frame. I try to use the perspective of being outside of my own self and mind, viewing myself as I would view a friend in this situation. 

Once you take that point of view, you can reach a place of compassion and kindness. Rather than ruthless critical and negative self talk. 

Which isn’t always the first thing which we turn towards ourselves, when you’re ruminating in your own mind.
